Our Venues
The Community Centre
Our community Centre aims to provide an accessible, welcoming venue and focal point for the community. Intended as a place for people to meet and socialise and a space for local organisations to provide a range of low cost and where it can, no cost educational, recreational, social and cultural activities that are accessible to the local people to meet local needs.
The Pavilion
This project led by Grassmoor Parish Council, and assisted by the local Cricket and Football Clubs, will provides much needed community space for local groups and residents, for activities, events and family occasions, eg parties and celebrations, and a great asset for Barnes Park and the sporting fraternity.
The Pavilion has been funded by Grassland, Hasland and Winsick Parish Council, National Lottery Big Local, Derbyshire County Council and Sport England.
